Well I just realized one of my most beloved movies/musicals was just ripped off so horribly I nearly vomited. Rep Men this abomination to society is a rip off from the beautiful work of art Repo the Genetic Opera featuring a favorite singer of mine Sarah Brightman. A fantastic gothic atmosphere with a chilling plotline, strange twists, an emotional rollercoaster, and a fine test to human morals. Now they come forth with this cheesy action packed rip off that is more like a bad scifi movie. Shame to them and I do hope the original creators of this story either are given a LOT of money for I am certain their tears over this shame to their opera or that they put a lawsuit on this whole thing because I know I would.
Why I hate rip offs? Because you are taking credit for something you didn't do. Your stealing and I HATE stealing. A thief of any form should be punished for their crime, even if it is claiming a picture that is not yours and saying you are the artist it is no different then me to stealing a life ((murder)). I myself am very iffy about this whole taking someone else’s work, especially since I am an artist myself who has in the past dealt with people trying to take my stuff. I feel horribly sorry for the makers of RTGO and stand by them strongly as a fan and refuse to give these thief’s my money by refusing to ever see this film. I say if you want to make something come up with a concept on your own, don't thieve from others who have better idea's then you.
In the end we as artists work our asses off to perfect our crafts such as RTGO and my Afterlife. We pour our soul, heart, and life into our work thus giving it that lived in feeling because when viewing our art you are viewing us, when you take our art you are taking our identity and apart of us. With due respect do not ever rip off others work my dears. Please be original, please respect the artists because we don't have to share anything with you, we share it because we chose to, if the world turns to us and slaps us so and disrespects us then we will be happy to let the world live in a time with no art nor music nor books and see how everyone fairs.
