What's in a Name?

I've decided that the story behind the Sumi Ting that you now know is something you need to know.

It all started one cold, snowy day when Lady V and I where chatting of the makings of her new site. I was thinking out loud and asked for ideas on my character's name. Lady V replied: "Something Victorian."

So that is what I named my account. Sumi Ting Victorian is just a variation of those words. Then of course, I had to make her asian because of how the name sounded. So basically, Sumi Ting was born out of randomness and silliness.

Now I want to know, what is the story behind your character's name?

First Lady V:
Well it has been my writers name for two years straight and my name I am known for across the intwerwebs however I was not born with the name of Lady V. I know, hard to believe since it is the only thing I ever go by anymore. I was actually given the nickname Lady Victorian by Emilie Autumn, some of you may know her as the famous Industrial Victorian singer, if not look her up she rocks. I got the name for writing odd Victorian stories, poems, and dressing like Emilie Autumn so she said on her fan forum ((because she talks to her fans ^-^)) "Well aren’t you just the Victorian Lady." So I changed my login name on her forum to Lady Victorian and have been since. This means I earned my name from the Queen of Victorians therefore my name is literally a title in the Victorian world. I am indeed the only Lady Victorian, proud writer and singer and loyal friend to Emilie Autumn and her Asylum inmates. I also hold my name and title as my high as if it were my birth name and in some aspects actually replaces my birth name. It has become my writers name as well, and in the end one day I may even change my name to Lady Victorian and be called Victoria in the rock world and opera world ((since I am a singer after all.)
