General Appearance: He wouldn't stand out to well in a crowd of people. He dresses fairly nice, but only because he doesn't like to appear filthy and nasty like some homeless person. Often a simple attire of blue jeans and a lose fitting shirt will be enough for him. However, Jace never gos anywhere without his sunglasses even if he doesn't need them. There are other times when you might find him in a more.. formal attire.

Personality: Jace is the type of guy who looks after only himself. He's very strong, and not just physically, but mentally as well. There are very few things, if anything at all, that he wouldn't be willing to do in order to stay alive. He's a real fighter and doesn't go down or accept defeat easily. However, when he's alone at home during the day, keeping safe from the sunlight, he likes to draw and read. He is very reserved and doesn't allow very many to see the soft side of him. He can be cruel at times, and he kills for no reason other then the pleasure and joy he feels when killing someone.

History: The family Jace was born into wasn't a rich one. He had one sister, who was two years older then him. His parents worked as hard as they could while still trying to spend time with them and raise them right. But just when things looked liked they would be okay, his mom or dad would lose their job. The neighbors took care of them when there parents were out working. Some nights they didn't make it home until past three in the morning, sometimes even later. Getting in all the extra hours they were allowed so they could have more money to feed them, and take care of the house.
It wasn't until Jace got older that he finally saw and understood the problems his family were going through. Even though he desperately wanted to help out, he was still too young to go out and get a real job. So instead he had to settle for working with their neighbors and doing little things around their houses to earn small amounts of money after school. It was tiresome. Day after day going from one neighbor to another asking if there was anything he could do for them. Anything they needed help with.
The year he turned 15 his mom got really sick. She was in pain all the time, and hardly ever left the bed so she lost her job, and his dad tried to stay home as much as he could but they couldn't afford for him to lose his job too. Eventually the pain became too much for her, and she died, the cause was unknown. Soon after his father killed himself, leaving Jace and his little sister on their own. They were put into an Orphanage, where they were abused by the church, and allowed little time to themselves. They were wards of the state, and unwanted.
When Jace turned seventeen, his sister disappeared. He didn't know where she went, and everyone he asked either said they hadn't seen her, or simply wouldn't answer him at all. He never saw her again, and soon after he stopped searching for her, knowing he couldn't look forever. He had to take care of himself.
So years passed, and little by little he'd gained a certain amount of attention. He was wealthy, and as far as humans go, powerful. That is until a new face appeared in town. The man didn't talk much, but when he did it was always with a slight accent that he couldn't really place. He often times caught this man watching him, and when Jace would look back at him, he wouldn't even look away, just smile.
It was was one night, many weeks after the strangers appearance, when Jace was walking back to his home. He was attacked, he hadn't understood at the time what was happening, the sharp teeth piercing into his throat or his blood being slowly taken from him. He had lost unconscious, and when he woke up, in someone elses' house, he had been scared. That is until everything had been explained to him. What he was now. What that meant, and how he would have to live off the blood of humans for the rest of his 'life'.
After that, he traveled with his maker for many years until he grew bored and wandered off on his own. Not much is known about him because he rarely stopped to make friends. There is a rumor that Jace had joined a coven, and then killed each member off one at a time, but of course, this was never proven.
